Champagne Splitz is a comedic burlesque artist and clown based in Seattle, WA. Her genre-defying work explores cultural expectations of femininity through melodrama, whimsy, absurdity, and silliness. A graduate of Miss Indigo Blue’s Academy of Burlesque and SF’s Clown Conservatory, she has performed up and down the western seaboard as well as internationally. Miss Splitz revels in the tragic and the absurd, the glamorous and the ridiculous, and the serious business of being silly. Champagne has many moods, but her out-of-the-box Sad Clown antics have earned her the title of “The Saddest Showgirl.” As Champagne always says, “If I wasn’t crying, I’d be laughing.”
